Building Confidence for the Future

Empowering Student Growth

At Mountain View Christian Academy, we provide a personalized, mastery-based education rooted in Biblical principles. The ACE curriculum leads in developing thought processes necessary for life skills. Course subjects integrate concepts throughout all grade levels. The open classroom geared to each individual’s academic needs creates a unique learning experience.

“I really love school. I didn’t like it at my old school. I hope I never have to leave this school.” G. P.

Student’s comment upon learning a fellow classmate was having to home school: “Another one?!? What is wrong with these parents? Don’t they know if their kid is having problems with reading, math, or dyslexia that this is the best place for them to get help and a good education? H. G.

Why a student who transferred to another ACE school (to accommodate work schedules) wanted to return to MVCA: “I was falling behind majorly, and I wasn’t getting one-on-one attention to help with the struggles. The school allowed 50% as a passing grade on Self Tests so I couldn’t figure out the rest of the answers. Then they let me keep retaking the PACE Test until I finally made the minimum grade of 80% required by ACE. MVCA is very quiet–unlike the other school. I’ve caught up majorly since I’ve returned to MVCA. I have developed better study skills now, read way faster, and have had to master the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts tables. It was so exciting to begin making “A’s” on my PACE tests again. E. U.

From a student bullied in a previous school: “I’m learning a lot. I like the kids that go to this school.” A. J.

MVCA has been a wonderful experience for our son. His previous school retained him in 1st grade last year. We enrolled him at MVCA for 2nd semester last year. His testing showed he had to begin working at 1st grade, but MVCA’s staff assured us they knew how to catch him up. As of 3rd qtr. this year, he is currently almost to 3rd grade in all subjects. He went from being academically defeated to meeting or exceeding every goal in front of him. He’s a different kid now. He’s happy, confident, driven, and he loves going to school!” J. P.

“Teacher, I love you! Thank you for helping me learn how to write cursive. I always wanted to learn this.” S. P.

MVCA has been a Godsend. My child was 2 years behind grade level when we enrolled her. Through a lot of hard work and superior effort by the staff, she is catching up and has gained a lot of confidence that she’ll be where she needs to be by high school. The staff are excellent people with high standards, and they expect great things from their students and get it. They also realize there is more to a student than just school work; they nurture the mental and spiritual person as well. They love each student unconditionally and work to pull out the hidden potential in each student. The ACE curriculum is great, and if your student puts in the effort, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend MVCA! C. B.
